The winter K-pop awards season is upon us, and BTS continues to take it by storm! From topping awards lists to incredible performances, BTS and ARMY have a lot to celebrate this week.

December 5

BTS kicked off the week at the Melon Music Awards, where they swept all the grand prizes: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (MAP OF THE SOUL : 7), and Song of the Year (Dynamite). In addition, BTS won Best Dance - Male (Dynamite), Netizen’s Choice, and Top Ten Artist. Meanwhile, SUGA and IU won Best Rock for eight.

Of course, it’s not an awards show without great performances, and BTS definitely delivered! The performance started with Jimin and Jungkook dancing a beautiful classical version of Black Swan, and transitioned into ON, Life Goes On, and Dynamite.

BTS also won Best Dance Performance - Male (Dynamite), Best MV (Dynamite), Worldwide Fan’s Choice, and Best Male Group. Additionally, eight won Best Collaboration.

BTS started their performance with ON and Dynamite. The performance finished with Life Goes On, and although SUGA couldn’t be there in person, he performed as a hologram.

Life Goes On also acquired its fourth win on Inkigayo.

BTS was also busy on YouTube, posting two videos in collaboration with SiriusXM. In the first video, BTS answered fans’ questions about BEand shared their 2021 resolutions. The boys’ resolutions for 2021 are “health, happiness, and being able to tour again.” For them and ARMY both. The second was BTS Play 'This or That' (Round 2), where they voted on their preferences between two things such as “coffee or tea.” Only two of the members voted for tea - can you guess who?

On VLive, Run BTS! Episode 119 aired. This episode was the second part of a hilarious photo story challenge and it was full of plot twists and laughter. Make sure to check it out, ARMY!
