July 24
The entire fandom was shaken by V who came to VLive by surprise, where he greeted us and played music, with a glimpse of RM singing and dancing to Boyz II Men’s End of the Road.
BTS became the first group in Spotify history to have 70 songs surpass 100M, and Permission to Dance and Boy With Luv became the first Korean songs to surpass 700M streams. Lastly, Dynamite was certified double platinum by ARIA in Australia.
BTS made a hilarious appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, playing a game titled “Will It Fit?”, and SBS 8 News talked about how they have been ruling the Billboard charts for months now.
Jimin then closed the day by posting two adorable selfies, saying he loved and missed ARMY.

July 25
After receiving an overwhelming response from ARMY, Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men left a heartwarming message for BTS thanking them for listening to their song on his personal Instagram. It was not his first time posting about the boys, though. In 2019, he posted a video of himself at a BTS concert in Rose Bowl. What a legend!
BANGTANTV dropped “BTS (방탄소년단) P. to. D Project” on YouTube, in which BTS competed to make ARMY laugh and dance. How can we not love them?
V caused a stir by appearing as a cameo on Peakboy’s latest MV, GYOPO HAIRSTYLE, along with his friends Park Hyungsik, Park Seojoon and Choi Wooshik. He then dropped by Weverse to interact with ARMY.
July 26
Near midnight, j-hope surprised us with a jamming session on VLive. For about an hour and a half, he showcased his wonderful moves and did a mini HYBE tour (he even took ARMY for a short visit to a washroom!). Later on, RM posted pictures from his previous visit to a museum.

Permission to Dance reached 200M views and Mic Drop was BTS’ 4th song to reach 1B views on YouTube. Well done, ARMY!
Weverse Magazine started an interview series with each member for their Butter comeback. Jungkook’s was first to be released and he talked about his personal ambition to be a better artist.
July 27
Butter was back at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 for the 8th time and BTS has spent 14 cumulative weeks at #1. BTS also became the first act to achieve 20 RIAJ streaming certifications in Japan. The hyung line then came to Weverse to show their gratitude for ARMY.
J-hope‘s interview was next to be released, and once again he showed his responsible and mature side as the performance leader of BTS.
BTS made their debut on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, performing I'll Be Missing You (Puff Daddy, Faith Evans and Sting Cover), Permission to Dance, and Dynamite. A refreshing performance, to say the least!
July 28
HYBE announced “One Amazing Summer Day with ARMY'', an exclusive 30 minute live meeting with BTS for 200 lucky ARMY Membership holders which will be held through ZOOM on August 9.
Permission to Dance got its 5th win on Show Champion, and IDOL surpassed 970M views on YouTube. Way to go to 1B, ARMY!
Weverse Magazine released Jin’s interview, awing us with his wise mind and amazing work ethic. Indeed, Jin is the embodiment of the “Love Myself” campaign!
July 29
V’s interview was released by Weverse Magazine, showing us his relaxed state of mind these days, and how passionate he is about ARMY.
RM greeted ARMY on Weverse with an old photo of him, in a magenta turtleneck paired with black leather jacket. Also, BTS remained at #1 on Gaon Social Chart for 19 consecutive weeks.
July 30
Finally, Jungkook went to VLive to hold a karaoke session with ARMY. IDOL, Silver Spoon, So What, and other artists’ songs such as Smile Again and Peaches were only a few songs he sang. V then posted a screenshot of Jungkook during his VLive on Weverse, bickering with him.
Weverse Magazine released RM’s interview where he talked about his feelings while making BTS’ songs and how he loves working out. Shortly after, he greeted ARMY on Weverse with newer photos of him.
Permission to Dance received its 6th win on Music Bank, making BTS the first artist in Korean history to achieve 150 music show wins! Did you see their bags full of trophies, ARMY?
