BTS’ Top 5 Dynamite Stages

Not too long ago, BTS gave us the #1 on Billboard and Grammy-nominated Dynamite, and they performed on many top-quality stages. So for today’s blog, we are here to have fun and discover ARMY's favorite stage for the song.

It was hard to narrow it down with so many to choose from, but we gathered 10 Dynamite stages to go head-to-head. These stages were evaluated by outfits, performance, and stage design. Once we had our top 10 stages, we carried polls on social media and let ARMY decide on a favorite.

To find our results, we had polls on both our Twitter and Instagram accounts. The tournament then took place with the following choices: The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, MAMA 2020, Melon Music Awards (MMA) 2020, America's Got Talent, the 63rd Grammy Awards, Music On A Mission/MusiCares, MTV VMAs 2020, the iHeartRadio Music Festival, and the Billboard Music Awards 2020.

For the main event, here are the top five Dynamite stages according to the tournament results.

Performing in an empty Peace Hall at Kyung Hee University, BTS gave a unique look on their stage for Dynamite. Spotlights that changed color and smooth moves were front and center, and each member donned a black suit with a white button-up dress shirt. Each one had a personal styling detail and distinctive mic. Their vocals were great, and they moved on the stage with charm. Another unique aspect was having Jungkook on the drums, giving a different vibe to the performance. All the members, whether sitting down or standing up at the end, enjoyed every moment which made the performance incredibly fun to watch.

Sporting maroon suits with different styling details for each member, BTS performed another well-rounded stage for the BBMA audience to enjoy. One of the special aspects of this performance was the band on a screen behind them. Stage lighting and camera work highlighted the members who delivered their charm through facial expressions and dance moves. Once again, they did their best to show an enjoyable stage and transmit a good energy for everyone watching at home.

To say that their performance on The Late Late show was unique could be considered an understatement for some. BTS brought all of us watching a powerful and optimistic performance by utilizing incredible stage design as they performed at an airport. They used a plane and the airport floor to show their stellar moves and provide ARMY with a warmer feeling of hope that they would travel to all of us as soon as they could. The members all wore white suits with individual styling details that complemented the grand stage they picked. The camera work was done to let the audience feel they were accompanying BTS on their journey.

There isn’t much of a surprise to have this performance as part of the top two stages. BTS’ performance on the Grammy stage will always be pivotal in their career as they blew up the stage like only they know how. Their performance and the stage design spared no expense as they wanted to show the music world their ability to captivate an audience and how they hold their own as performers. Each member had a colorful suit, the colors blending well with each other and the stage changes. They began their performance on a stage with flowers from above and a tunnel and ended it on a rooftop with spotlights that made them shine brighter.

For our winner, we have BTS’ performance for the MMAs. Although the entire performance was excellent, one of the stand-out moments was the dance break, which was hard not to fall in love with. BTS had different dark colored suits with unique touches, such as sparkles. The stage moved from being a box that changed colors to a bright stage that had many twinkling lights and virtual fireworks, and we all felt SUGA’s presence and encouragement as he recovered to come back better than ever. Overall, it was a fun stage to watch, and it reached many hearts.

What an extraordinary way to revisit Dynamite’s success! It was great to have some fun looking at all these stages and picking some favorites. We hope you enjoyed it too, and please feel free to share your favorite stage with us. We wish you a good day, and let's continue to smoothly blow it up like dynamite for BTS!
