A MEMORABLE, WELL-FED WEEK FOR ARMY!

Last week’s feast was something ARMY is not going to forget anytime soon. How are you all doing? Ready for a quick check-in?

To start with, let’s shout out to both celebrity ARMYs Jimmy Fallon and James Corden now known as Papa Mochi. Not only did they deliver entertaining, relaxing and thoughtful shows but they have also heartfully thanked ARMY for the amazing support after their episodes aired. But let’s not get too excited and rewind the week slightly.

On Monday, February 24, BTS held a press conference that you can watch here (courtesy of BANGTAN TV). Shortly after the press conference ended, the members thanked ARMY for their support and love. They were all dressed in classy yet simple outfits for the occasion (photos below).

On top of the official photos from the press conference, SUGA posted a selfie and Jin soon followed with a picture of him having a good laugh with his members. Aren’t they (a bit too) cute?

ARMY was also pleased to be gifted with BTS’s interview with MTV, where they sent messages to their future selves.

About The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon tweeted that he was getting ready with some BT21 characters, and replied to a tweet from ARMY MAGAZINE before the show aired, hyping both ARMY and ARMY MAGAZINE’s staff.

Jimmy Fallon took BTS on a New York train ride and had the guys play an epic game of Subway Olympics. They also chat about their first impressions of each other and the infamous black bean noodle incident. They even got to eat at a famous New York restaurant named Katz's Deli. The members also mentioned wanting to meet John Cena as they are huge fans of each other.

Jimmy Fallon said that he would make that happen and John Cena excitedly responded to this, saying he had just discovered that BTS were huge WWE fans.

John Cena has been supportive of BTS and ARMY wholeheartedly, so let’s hope they get to meet each other soon!

Shortly after, BTS performed 'ON' in NYC Grand Central terminal for the first time ever! No other artist has done this before, so BTS paved the way again, ARMY! Things kept getting better and better as the week went by. BTS’ episode of carpool karaoke perfectly showcased the qualities that ARMY find endearing about BTS. With their talent, humor and general all-round happy energy BTS sang Finesse by Bruno Mars and Cardi B, to the fandom’s delight. Jungkook’s impressive vocals undoubtedly had everyone in awe. Even Bruno Mars and Cardi B tweeted soon after the episode aired to show BTS and ARMY their support. For ARMYs who have not watched it yet, check out James Corden and BTS’s epic carpool karaoke.

Then, another much anticipated and eagerly awaited event occurred: the official MV of ON was released at 12am KST on Friday, February 28. Many ARMYs immediately thought of “The Maze Runner” when they saw the wall in the MV, alongside many other references like “The Lion King” and “The Lord of The Rings”. ARMY also took the record for the fastest 10 million views on YouTube in only 1 hour and 5 minutes!

Last but not least, BTS performed at the KBS Music Bank in Seoul. For ARMYs who haven’t watched the performance, here are Black Swan, ON,and the interview with BTS. BTS won first place at KBS with ON.
